William Fawcett: A Military Lodge in Eastleigh
Updated: Mar 7, 2019
With a proud History, William Fawcett Lodge 8612 was founded in 1974 as the P&O
Meeting at the Eastleigh Masonic Centre, it is currently undergoing a repurposing to a Combined Services Lodge for the next great chapter in its fine history.
There has long been a need for such a lodge to meet the requirements of local Masonic veterans, serving members of our armed forces and those who share the values of public service, in the Winchester, Eastleigh, and Southampton area. William Fawcett Lodge will provide a familiar environment to candidates with a services background and looking to attract serving members.
Whether you are a Master Mason on the back benches of a lodge who seeks faster
progression, or a more experienced brother who seeks to support the transformation of this
wonderful lodge, whether in office or in a supporting role or just wishes to be amongst
like-minded masons, servicemen and veterans, now is the time to put your left foot forward.
If you want to be part of a lodge whose meetings will be quick, efficient, low in bureaucracy,
high in quality ritual and with the esprit de corps, enjoyment, and, dare we say, fun of a
services lodge, then contact W.Bro Charlie Rainey, NC Area Mentor at
The Lodge currently meets four times a year. 2nd Tuesday in February April (I), October and December and would welcome your company, friendship and support.
